Community regeneration through culture and the creative industries.

Creative Communities (NE) is a not-for-profit community interest company based in Spennymoor, County Durham.

We were established to help bring about community regeneration in the North-East of England through developing skills and knowledge of the arts and creative industries and helping people in these communities to establish facilities to practice these skills.

We intend to do this by:

• 1) Developing Skills
• 2) Arranging opportunities for people to practice those skills
• 3) Encouraging Entrepreneurship in the arts and creative industries
• 4) Learning from Best Practice throughout the UK and Europe
